| 1. Cut a horseshoe shape out of the cardboard or poster board. Older kids will be able to cute their own, but younger ones may need help. | |
| 2. Take two strips of aluminum foil, double the width of the horseshoe side. This will make it easier to wrap the foil around the shoe. You can “crinkle” the aluminum to give it a worn look. | |
| 3. Punch a hole in each side of the shoe and tie a small piece of string so it may be hung above the door. Legend says the shoe hung with heel side up will bring good luck. | |
