Imagination Monster Puppet

Materials Needed:
  •  Different colored pieces of Tissue paper
  •  Different colored pieces of construction paper
  •  Feathers
  •  Glue
  •  Pencil with an eraser
  •  Scissors
  •  Small paper plate
  •  One large craft stick

Directions:

Note: Children can use any materials besides construction paper, feathers and tissue paper to make their puppet, encouraging them to use their imagination.

1. Choose different colors of construction paper to draw and cut out the puppet’s mouth, eyes, nose, and eyelashes.  (Note:  you can make your eyes, nose, and mouth any way that you want to.) 
2. Choose with color of tissue paper you want for the puppet’s hair and cut little strips out.
3. Using the eraser end of the pencil, wrap the tissue paper around the eraser and glue it onto the outer edge of the paper plate.
4. Glue the eyes, nose, mouth, and eyelashes onto the small paper plate anyway that you like.
5. Glue the feathers on the paper plate anywhere you like.
6. Finally, glue the large craft stick on to the back of the paper plate.
