The library is proud to feature the works of local and regional artists at each location. Exhibits change monthly and may include artists' receptions, gallery talks, lectures, demonstrations of technique, and book talks promoting areas of the fine arts collection. All exhibits are free and open to the public during regular library hours. At Argentine...	September 23, 2009 through January 13, 2010 "Illustrations of Old Argentine," by Gayland Burke
At Main...	October 19 through November 19, 2009 "Atmospheres," Fiber Mosaics by Lori Miller November 23, 2009 through January 13, 2010 "Shut Down: Images from Inside the Wyandotte County Juvenile Detention Center," a traveling exhibit from Arts in Prison, Inc.
At West Wyandotte...	November 2 through 30, 2009 Paintings by Christine Rupert and Polymer Clay Art by Hot Flash! Arts December 2, 2009 through Janaury 4, 2010 "Dreams," paintings by Allison Hedgpeth and "Klicks for Kids," a photography exhibit featuring the images of Kansas children in foster care needing adoption There will be an opening reception for Allison Hedgpeth on Sunday, December 6 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Gallery. The reception is free and open to the public.
