CD Suncatchers

CD Suncatchers
Materials:
2 Old CD's
Wood Glue
White Craft Glue
1 Tassel
Large Needle
Heat Source
Paper Motif from Wrapping Paper or Greeting Card
Thread or Fishing Line for a Hanger

Begin by placing both CD's so that the side with writing is facing up. Put a small amount of wood glue on the one of the CD's. Be careful not to put too much glue on the CD. Glue the CD's together so that the silver sides are facing out.

Choose your motif. Put white craft glue on the back of your paper motif and glue it so that it covers the hole in the CD. Smooth out the paper and allow the glue to dry.

Hold the large needle with a pair of pliers. Hold the needle over a heat source until it is very hot. Use the hot needle to make a small hole at the top and bottom of the CD. Attach the tassel to the bottom hole. Use a piece of embroidery floss or fishing line as a hanger at the top.
