Spider Lollipop

Materials

  • 1 lollipop
  • 5" square piece of a black trash bag
  • 4 pipe cleaners, 12 inch size
  • Two wiggle eyes
  • 5" piece of orange yarn
  • Tacky white glue
  • Scissors
  • Ruler

Instructions

  1. Cut a 5 inch square from a black trash bag.
  2. Place the lollipop in the middle of the black square and gather around between the base of the lollipop and the stick holding it tightly.
  3. Take a pipe cleaner and at the halfway point wrap it around the stick.  This will be the spider's first two legs.  The legs should be straight across from one another.  Add the other three pipe cleaners in this same way, wrapping them around the stick tightly.
  4. When all legs are in place bend them at the joints as shown above to form his feet.
  5. Tie the orange yarn in a bow around his neck.
  6. Glue the wiggle eyes on with tacky glue.  Very simple to make and so spider-licious!
