Looking for other ways to make a difference? Check out these possibilities:
Sponsor an Educational Field Trip: While field trips to Schlagle Library are free of charge, bus transportation costs can make educational field trips almost cost prohibitive for schools. If you know a class or teacher you would like to help out with the cost of a field trip to FLS, give us a call and we will help direct you to making it a reality (913-299-2384).
Freezer Menagerie: FLS staff frequently gets animals that have perished. These animals are stored in a freezer in the hope that we can get them taxidermied for educational use in our programs. If you are looking for a unique gift or donation in the name of a relative or friend, consider making a donation for the taxidermy of one of our dead animals. Call 913-299-2384 to find out what animals are currently on the list and their taxidermy cost. Help bring an animal back to “life.”
