The Kansas City, Kansas Public Library, other libraries across Kansas, and the State Library of Kansas offer a digital media program, Audio Books, Music and More! for your enjoyment. You can browse and search hundreds of great titles and download them to your computer, transfer them to a portable device, or burn onto a CD for your reading and listening pleasure anywhere, anytime. Try it, it's easy!
Patrons can use their valid KCKPL Library Cards to checkout up to 10 digital audiobooks or music titles at a time.
The Audio books, music and more! software -- The OverDrive Media Console -- must be downloaded and installed on your PC and requires a computer using the Microsoft Windows operating system. New MP3 Audiobooks will play on virtually any MP3 player available including the iPod® and Zune®!
- The lending period for most titles is 14 days. At the end of that time titles are automatically 'returned.' As a result, you will never have overdue fines for digital audio or music titles.
- You may have up to 10 titles checked out at one time.
