The Main Branch of has a 12-seat Computer Training Lab which was initially created thanks to a grant from Bill and Melinda Gates. The library offers a series of computer classes for the public in the Computer Training Lab. In addition, the lab may be reserved by other libraries or library organizations for training purposes.
The Kansas City, Kansas Public Library is happy to work with other community organizations to develop and present training within the constraints of staff time and existing hardware and software.
