Turkey Pear


Ingredients:

  • A Bosc pear
  • Toothpicks
  • Frosting
  • Gumdrops
  • One piece of candy corn

Turkey Pear

Directions:

  1. The pear is the body of the turkey.
  2. Thread several gumdrops onto 5 or 6 toothpicks and stick them into the large end of the pear, like a fan, to make a feathered tail.  
  3. At the narrow end of the pear, which is the "head," attach a piece of candy corn with a bit of frosting to create a beak.
  4. Use 3 toothpicks for legs (in a triangular position so your turkey can stand up).
