Thanksgiving Turkey and Corn Stalk Garlands

Supplies:
Twine
Scissors
Oak tag
Construction paper in appropriate colors
Pencil
Glue
Markers
Turkey garland patterns
Corn stalk patterns

Turkey garland

Directions:

CORN STALK GARLAND

  1. Reproduce the patterns.
  2. Use the oak tag to stiffen the patterns, so that they trace easily.
  3. Trace the patterns onto the appropriate color of construction paper.
  4. Cut out the desired number of patterns.
  5. Cut the twine the desired length for your garland.
  6. Glue the pumpkins and small turkey to the corn stalks.
  7. Evenly space and glue the corn stalks to the twine.
  8. Hang the garland over a door or window.

TURKEY GARLAND

  1. Reproduce the patterns.
  2. Use oak tag to stiffen the patterns so that they trace easily.
  3. Trace the patterns onto brown construction paper.
  4. Cut out the desired number of turkeys and feet.
  5. Glue the feet to the turkey.
  6. Color the turkey's waddle red.
  7. Cut the desired length of twine.
  8. Evenly space the turkeys on the twine and glue the turkeys on the twine.
  9. Hang your garland up.
