| 1. Print off
the apple and leaves pattern. Cut out the pattern and place on top
of the felt. You may secure the pattern with straight pins and cut
around. Cut two red pieces of felt for the front and back.
Use the green felt for the leaves.
2. With the green thread, whipstitch both leaves onto the front piece of the apple. Set this piece aside. 3. Put the apple pattern on top of the piece of batting and cut out. 4. Take the bottom piece of the apple and lay in front of you on the table. Put the piece of batting that you just cut out on top of the red felt. 5. Now lay the top of the apple down on both of the above pieces and pin all together with pins. 6. Whipstitch around the outside edge of all three pieces. Leave an opening in the top, so that you may insert the brown rug yarn in for the stem. Continue to whipstitch the edge closed to secure the stem. 7. Remove any pins, and your potholder is
complete!
